Subject: Changing Name Of Computer Owner in XP

I have installed Windows XP Home on a new computer that has not been sold. I
entered "New Owner" the first time (preceding entering the Product Key) and
the second time as a user. Changing the user name should be simple. It is
changing the rest of it where the new owner never sees the phrase, "New
Owner' that is the problem.

In the Windows 9x days it was simple. Just do regedit and search the
registry for "New Owner" or whatever you wanted to change. In the from 5 to
15 places you found it, just paste the correct entry over it. If I try to
pull that stunt in Windows XP I find my phrase over 100 times. There has to
be a simpler way to personalize this new computer for its new owner without
having to format Drive C and reinstall Windows XP.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Chuck
