Interesting that you found the same degradation in signal as I did
running power up the feeder. I started out with a separate power feed,
until the cable went o/c somewhere along its length. I messed about
without finding the break. The weather at the time was bad as well.
Not good for scrambling about on a roof, so I took the easy option and
used the DC tap that was supplied with the kit.
