No solution yet found but it appears to be a common problem when
using Eudora and GMAIL.
All I know is that I agree with JoeBackward [Carl's last post with a
snipurl] in that I didn't use to work & now it does. I've changed
nothing. I have nothing thru "relay" [my isp blocks the 1st 1000
ports & that would not be unusual] yet I have Required, Alternate
Port for authentication as per Gmail's instructions on their website.
FWIW I'm using 6.2.3.4 Paid Mode.
