I use Nero 7's Capture Software NeroVision 4 which is a very good video capture
software. Good for making DVD quality mpeg4 video and it's already built in to
Nero 7 Ultra Edition.
It allows you to edit, add your own sountracks, copy VHS tapes to DVD.

I have the dazzle DVC 90 adapter connected to a VHS recorder to
transfer my videos to cd. The Pinnacle Studio 9 quick start software
that came with it is most unreliable. It crashes sporatically, when
it does work it sometimes records the audio very much out of sync
with the video. I have tried Pinnacles tech support and have gone
back and forth , but it still only works correctly part of the time.
Any suggestions for software that is reliable, that will allow me to
record then edit out sections and then burn to disc.
Or does anyoe know how to seoearte the sound track from video and
resync. That does sound like a lot of work that would not be needed
if this program worked right from the start.
I am using xp pro.
