I do not have any Norton product on my computer. I did have Norton
anti-virus once upon a time. I do not know about dead files. I have
cleared cookies, history and temmporary Internet explorer files allong with
all offline items. As for virtual memory:
Total Virtual Memory 2,725,200 KB
Available Virtual Memory 2,098,376 KB
After posting my message, I took a look at running processes. I found
several instances of explorer.exe so they were starting but there was no
display.
I have plenty of hard disk space so that is not a problem.
