When I opened the message, I found that jeff.lane had written:
She runs the show now since we had to put down her brother, a magnificent
Alaskan Malamute that definitely was royalty.....in his own mind. She
inherited many of his traits. We still miss him very much and it's been a
year and a half. She still knows which Christmas stocking is hers and
which was
his.....she carefully, respectfully, sniffs his and goes bananas over
hers. They
are still empty.
I only sent this back as I know how much your pets(real family members)
mean to
you and many others on this list.

Not at all, where I'm concerned. Anyone who likes dogs has to be ok!
I don't like anyone who doesn't like dogs. As a matter of fact, I like
most dogs more than most people....almost. People are living souls,
so they have an eternal value.
You're not far off on that one........................
I can't imagine having to have one of our dogs put down! I might
just go with'em <smile>.
As most anyone will attest it's one of the most difficult thing you ever
have to do.........just like a family member(well most of them....family
members, that is)
I started to watch a FOX News program the other night and it was
about people who skinned their dogs alive for their pelts. I couldn't
watch it. Some guy was on there who was instrumental in getting a
law passed which made the trading of domestic pelts. I didn't even
know people did that. I didn't stick around the program long enough
to learn more. Couldn't handle it!
So.....Merry Christmas to all those pets out there too....especially if
the are dogs <smile>.
