If you haven't already resolved this, you just have to put your local
network in the Trusted zone of Zone Alarm. It's been a while since
I've used ZA, so I don't recall where the setting is located. I
think I used to set mine to the range 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.255
which covered the entire range of addresses on my Linksys
router. The exact range can vary by brand of router; I think Netgear
uses 192.168.0.x. You can also limit it to just the addresses of
your two computers, but if you are using dynamic IPs, this can change
of course. Once set, you can share files and printers within your
LAN to your heart's content.
