I have cleard all the cookies in couple of places, the Cookie dir and
Internet Temp dir. Read some info on the subject and even ventured
into the registry Protected Storage, where some of the info is
stored, but hard to tell what's what. Removed a couple entries, but
it disabled Autocomplete completely - had to dig up old registry
files to make it work again.

Also tried a couple of small apps that read and clear this stuff.
All in all, no luck. Was tempted to pull IE out with Lite98 and re-
install from nothing, but may be too much trouble. And it works in
some web forms.

This the kind of event that may put me over the line to Firefox,
where Autcomplete not only works flawlessly, but there is a feature
to read what's been entered (in case you forget).

Took me a long time to switch from Netscape to IE. It may be time to
switch again.
