Apparently, you could install the wmf fix.  When I ran 
wmffix_hexblog13.exe , it gave this Setup message:

   "Sorry, could not update the AppInin_DLLs registry key. 
    The fix will NOT work."

( Win2kpro, nav2k5 and zonealarmpro )


I finally figured out that I had ProcessGuard configured to 
"Block Registry DLL injection".  You might have some other 
security program interfering, analogously...
