Thanks.... I just read the following from Brian Livingston's Windows Secrets
newsletter: "Installing the Guilfanov patch, deregistrating the DLL, and
enabling
DEP are all steps that can be easily reversed, if necessary. The unofficial
patch
and the deregistration should be undone before installing Microsoft's own patch,
whenever it may become available." I found the part about undoing the current
patch
interesting/worthwhile. Apparently Microsoft is planning to release their own
patch on January 10, 2006.
