Although the direction about uninstalling, before/after, comes from the trusted
source who provided the initial patch, perhaps it is worthwhile installing a new
patch to an unpatched system just in case there is some confusion caused by/to
the
patches. If an uninstall before the new patch doesn't cause a problem, then why
not
then versus an uninstall after the new patch. FWIW, I uninstalled the first
patch
and then installed the MS patch... so far, so good. :-)
