Yeah, I was thinking the same thing after I posted that the drive is just
sitting there in the machine and anyone could snark it or take a peek. Then
I thought what about a pass/ protect scheme that when idle say after 5
minutes or so the thing would revert to pass protect mode. The "stringy"
solution makes me feel like such a dork : )
