I think that in today's world, I would be more worried about someone using
my system (and thud a connection that would be traced back to me) for doing
things they do not want to do on their own access. I believe I read that
someone prosecuted and convicted for stealing data over the internet can
have all their computer equipment confiscated, and be fined very heavily.
At the beginning of this thread was the comment that she wouldn't
mind except her neighbor is using massive bandwith. Possibly illegal movie
downloads?
