Additional info -

I recently discovered that
My Win2K Pro system has decided that my HP2550 is no longer accessible via
the USB cable -
OK! Yes it is infrequently used, and usually disconnected  -

Possibly the system doesn't like that connection port being used for other
devices
I connect it when I need bulk colour printing as opposed to Monochrome, or
photo quality colour

I had to disconnect it, and re-do the install.
