In fact why on earth would the
POTUS request a federal judge to supeona Google's search records when all
the FBI, CIA and DHS have to do is use their computers to use Google themselves
to do the
searches?
Am I missing something? Or did they have two/three objectives.
See what people were looking for, HOW they looked,
AND track back to the people that were doing the searching/looking...
Your answer seems to tell them to go look "for stuff" themselves,
and does not address the other issues at all...
"Issue two" worries Google since some trade secrets of the "inner-workings"
might be exposed to competitors...
I think the only thing "I" would "worry about" was being tracked back to,
but then again, I don't search for things "--I--" think would worry them,
but "WE" do not get a say in what worries THEM and THAT is what
most people "object to" the most... JMHO...
