And, for IE 6.0 with Windows 98 ( presuming that your OS is located in
c:\ ) you can Repair it by using:

Start > Run >  then, Type in

rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "c:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\Setup\SET.UP.EXE" "c:\Windows\IE Uninstall Log.txt"
