I have just come across a Freeware called DUSTBUSTER for all
versions of Windows.
It is supposed to search and delete "automagically" all unnecessary
files using fuzzy logic, without any user control, whatsoever!!
Is it known to be harmful on regular use, in the long run?
Well, I normally use CCLEANER and was pretty sure I had a squeaky
clean HDD!!
So I GHOST my WIN 98SE plus Data Files and ran Dustbuster.
It found and supposedly removed over 900 "useless" files (including
6 files in the Recycle Bin) and supposedly reclaimed 3MB!!
[No, I did not check the total number of files and the space used, prior
to "dustbusting":~( ]
I rebooted and things seem to be okay, so far, at least.
Cheers..................JK
