I have very pleased with the Canon MP-780, multifunction, which runs $250. The MP-760 doesn't have fax capability and is less, but I'm not sure how much. I have even had decent results scanning and printing 6x6 photos, certainly not why I bought it but not a bad perk. Scan, copy, and print functions are all good. This is both flatbed and sheet feed.
