I use all three. VPC and VMware have their pros and cons - i tend to prefer
VM for desktop use and VPC Server for servers (DUH! <g>). VMware supports
USB and VPC does not - this is why i switched from connectix (I used VPC
long before MS bought it :)) to VMware. I have VPC running on a desktop, in
part because of licensing issues - i'm too tight to buy more VMware
licenses. (I own one for VMWare and 10 for VPC, so using VPC keeps me
legal.)
I decided to try the player on the laptop's spare drive (I ended up RMAing
the one that crashed a couple of weeks ago, without recovering any data :( )
and i'm not impressed. I'm a power user who often has 2 or 3 VMs running at
once and the player just does not meet my needs.
