Are they actually opening in a new window or just displaying in the preview
pane?
She can turn the preview pane off - it's the little button on the toolbar
with an image of three panes (it's per folder in OWA, so she'll need to
repeat it in each folder)- but it's quite safe in both Outlook 2003 and
Exchange 2003 to use the preview. In fact, the preview pane in every version
of Outlook *except* Outlook 98 is safe - slightly safe than opening the
messages in a new window.
