Subject: Seagate disk overlay?
What is the best way to get rid of the disk overlay?
I won't give the long story but the HD I cloned in my grandson's
Western Digital is picky and likes to fix only their drives. Maxtor is
most likely picky, also. I, by chance, tried Seagate on an oddball brand
drive and it worked! Since then I have been cleaning off all non WD or
Maxtor drives, courtesy of Seagate. It blasts off those name brand small
partitions of around 8 MB. It most likely make your drive overlay
disappear, also.

Chuck,
To save me time, what part of the menu of Seagate Disk Wizard do I start
with? This is a Seagate HD.
