I assume that you have an Nvidia graphics card, or a mainboard with an
Nvidia chipset. If its the latter, there may not be any W98 drivers
for it !

Again this sound like a chipset issue ! Normally win would just use a
generic VGA driver and you would have to install the correct driver for
the video card.
