Yeah, but from his previous message, the DNS settings had been entered manually and were no longer valid; he said pinging the them gave no response. Changing the settings back to auto and getting the correct DNS servers fixed the problem. I was just speculating on why the address for the POP server was no longer in the cache but others still were.
