Sorry for my hasty comments - I should have read the specs of the 2 boards! I had no idea a mobo would go bad that fast. Perception clouded by personal experience ( & some Austrian Zweigelt too, probably)!

The address with the specs was what I was looking for and could not locate on the page given by the tech support. I just wanted to be sure that my cpu and memory would fit the new board.
They will ship it out in 2 or 3 days

If this is a warranty repair I'd have no problems taking the newer/better
board.

Otherwise, you can probably find a better deal than what the repair will
cost by just buying a new motherboard at newegg.com or similar outlet.
