I don't have that problem and if I did I would regard it as a bug.

Have you applied the latest service pack?  Go here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx

and click "check for updates".

Hi all,

How do I preserve the settings I set for message sorting in Microsoft
Outlook 2003? I go to view then to arrange then to customise view, make the
changes and  hit ok. Once that is done, the messages get sorted the way I
want. But, when I restart Outlook, the sorting order is back.

What am I missing? The help is not too helpful or perhaps I am looking in
the wrong place.
