Not sure what you mean!

Access is a multi-user application facility

so - stick the database (mdb) file wherever you want - and set the other
client PC's to be able to access it
Well, that's what I'm asking. It obviously has to be on a computer with Internet access, BUT -- can you just put it on any old PC that's got an Internet connection? Doesn't there have to be a server, particularly when you want to limit the people who have access?

And, do these users actually need access to the database, or just the
ability to have the database facility generate a pre-defined report for them
to view?
Didn't I say that? One needs to have R/W access. One could get by with a pre0defined report, but the 3rd one probably want sto write his own reports.

and remember you can access the Access database by drawing data down into
Excel, or running a query via .net or VBA macro
I should have prefaced this query by admitting that I know nothing about Access. :-)

Thanks.
