I get 'em all the time, from a wide variety of sources, including the usual
suspects as well as institutions I've never heard of. Rule of thumb: don't
respond to any of them.
If you suspect they could possibly be legitimate, check the email headers or
check the links you're invited to click on to see if they actually send you
where they purport to.

Lately, I have been getting at least 4 phishing expeditions.
PayPal ones have been leading the way ( I guess they want my
money!) One was a supposed receipt for money sent. The
give-a-way TO: undisclosed recipients
Today I received two reportedly confirming my change of email addresses.
Several Ebay messages supposedly ask about an item that I have for sale -
Not!
Have others on this list been receiving this nonsense?
Do I have to close down several email addresses?
