I'll second that - remove plug from power supply - count to 20 slowly - put
plug back in - press
power on button. Works on my server when a power cut switches it off...........
However, on the subject.....
My personal machine running XP pro (P4 3.2 all singing and dancing) has begun
to STOP at the blue
"welcome" screen. Disc activity stops............... Reset and off we go and
it generally
continues to access the Hdd at the welcome screen and continue to boot to
desktop.
Any ides on that one as I'm getting fed up of double boot up.
