Tom I have been using Avast for about a year now. There are almost daily
updates on virus definitions. Avast has separate engines that work as a suite
to protect Internet mail, Instant messages, Network Shield, Outlook/Exchange,
P2P Shield, Standard Shield and Web Shield.
You can install on each of your computers. All that they require is that you
register with them so they know how many are using their software.
I love it and have recommended to all my friends, who have switched over to
Avast as their paid subscriptions expire.
