Hi folks
A guy I work with (not much longer;>)) has asked me about his new sound blaster
audigy digital
thingy with the front mounted twiddly bits.
Not knowing anything about this overpriced bit of kit - Here is the problem as
told.
Apparently he has connected the CD/DVD unit to the SB card/panel (whatever)
using the digital output
and not the usual 3/4 wire flat black analogue socket. The audio music etc
cannot be heard (I
mentioned turning up the volume!) but when the music is downloaded to the Hdd
it plays great.
Any ideas as to why the CD won't work through the SB unit and the Hdd will?
