Putting the question in the form of a statement, we are trying to "do"
a group collaboration with e-mail programs that are not capable...
I think the answer is - there is no "killer" answer...

If only one other person was involved, I would be able to "force"
all messages back to "text only" all the time, and correct the little
quoting arrows manually, by knowing what I said and didn't.
The third person (and the other e-mail programs) makes that
"not an option"...

I was just doing a "reality check" to see if I was missing something...
I tried to explain the exact problem better (just now, below),
but cut it all out...  (Waste of bandwidth and members time.)
