You can do the same with Google's desktop search. GDS will handle
Eudora or thunderbird as well as Outlook. Don't think copernic will
index thunderbird(at least it used to not). GDS will also let you do a
desktop search as well as internet search from the same search box. I
used copernic for a very long time but switched to GDS when version 2
came out. I'm now running ver 4.2006.303.5-en.
