You can use any application that can record unlimited audio streams
of radio broadcast from the net. Since it just audio that you'll be
recording just set the input device to WAVE inside your audio
recorder application (defualt sound card) which will let you capture
the sound stream.
If you have Quicktime you can use Quicktime Pro's "File > New Audio
Recording" option only availiable with registered Quicktime Pro also
you can use Nero's "Wave Editor" to capture the audio and set the
input device to "What U Hear".
Just click red record button > Sample Recording Settings > under the
Audio Input Line in the Recording Console box set the Sample Rate
44100 Hz CD and set the bit dept either to 24 bit - HQ Mastering
packed or 32-bit HQ mastering, unpacked. IMHO both the 24-bit HQ and
32-bit HQ mastering are better than the defualt 16bit CD 44100 Hz
since its the defult for most CD recordings.
You must have a sound card that supports 24 or 32-bit HQ mastering if
you want to choose these options. This may seem overkill but for me
it works ;)
Thanks, Marc.
Do any of these permit one to schedule a recording?
