Good call!

Nothing against Andy but that should always be the thing you run when you don't know what's running what on startup.

I'll make a note of that.

InterVideo WinCinema Manager starts up with the command:

        C:\Progra~1\Common\bin\wincin~1.exe

I was trying to find out if it was launching a Windows Explorer window instead of the app & by your previous answer it's Windows Explorer. You might want to find out if it's WinCinema that is calling that path & fix it.

WinCinema is installed in the Common directory!

But why does that require the window to be opened and displayed??

Is there a shortcut to this exe? It sounds to me that the shortcut is made for a normal window as opposed to minimized & it didn't like the shortcut. I certainly would launch WinCinema looking at it's options to see it's settings & make the appropriate changes.

No options. It's just another CD/DVD player and I think I'll get rid of it.

Thanks.
