Thunderbird - For address book, open the Address Book, then > Tools > Export. Not sure about the messages. Can you save them individually in a folder, and then burn them to a CD or DVD? You might try Google. There is a program oebw.exe which does what you want for Outlook Express (and also copies rules (filters). I used it recently (because it was from a really old machine I emailed the messages to a hotmail or yahoo account, and then opened them to the new machine).

Can't help with the Thunderbird, Firefox is easy. Go to bookmarks>manage bookmarks>file>export. Take the file to the new computer and do the same except import the file.

How do I copy my address book and inbox messages from my old
computer to my new one? Also Firefox bookmarks? Sam
