I had a similar instance of wanting to run a BAT file under windoze and
remembered an old prog
brought out in DOS days called - I think - BAT2EXE.exe which by elementary
deduction leads us to
establish that it converts a BAT script file into a compiled executable which
can be run native and
not have to open a DOS window.
If you get the BAT correct then have a go with BAT2EXE if it's still about.
