This was fixed by installing Nero BurnRights, blank media was now
seen and could be erased
and written.
Funny how installing Nero BurnRights fixes MSFT's OneCare user
accessibility to optical drives but it is just a beta. Hopefully MSFT
will fix this issue prior to going public. ;-)
