Acronis Recovery Expert has saved my bacon in situations like this in the past. <http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/partition- recovery.html> It's been a couple of years since I last used it, the last time was when upgrading a drive in a scsi raid array, I accidentally wiped the drives. PM saw a blank drive. Recovery Expert ran for about 30 minutes, recovered the previous partitions and I was able to boot off the drive after rebooting. -- Harondel J.
