Both the Printer drivers and video drivers and a few other drivers from the MS 
Windows Update site are
real old versions so I wouldn't rely on them. I usually get all of my hardware 
drivers
from the OEM websites.

I look to see who wrote the drivers MS is giving out...
I get video drivers ONLY from the original manufacturers site.
(Been burned a couple times by MS with "ATI" cards.)

I just got a printer driver from MS that Samsung wrote, so that
turned out well...
