Rick and Carl,

I just received three each of your last posts, with different time stamps, and the same ones earlier. Anyone know what is wrong here??

Thanks Diane,  It turned out to be some sort of "hidden" Norton
Recycle Bin GUI problem.
I always had the choice of empting the Regular Recycle Bin,
Nortons, or both. When the choice was "missing" for Norton
I thought it was not on that machine.

I have been getting away from the Norton stuff...
(This is a perfect example why, I guess...)

look in the system volume folder (does me have that folder?).
you may need to change the folder permission...
