Hi,
On my Toshiba LT, this is a feature, or it appears to be one, as there is an
option in the mouse properties to light up its position by hitting CTRL!
It's a pain when doing pcb layouts - a good job there is "undo". In my case,
it may be interaction between the beam-of-light & the table top (Ikea
"beech" finish). Maybe I should use a mouse carpet?
Regards,

Hugh -- I have had this problem for the last two weeks or so. I think it
must have to do with one of the Windows updates. No idea what to do about
it. Do the computers with the problem correlate with the updated XP ones?
It's a pain, but not really destructive (at least on my system) so I guess
I'll have to wait until you know who decides to fix it.
