I have recorded streaming video and burned it to a DVD using only free software. Unfortunately not everything that was free when I downloaded > 1 year ago is still free. But it's still quite cheap overall.
I used: Net Transport to capture video. http://www.xi-soft.com/default.htm Stoik Video Converter to convert captured WMV to AVI http://www.stoik.com/products/svc/ D.I.K.O. to encode and author DVD from AVI. http://www.vmesquita.com/en/index.htm Carl -----Original Message----- From: Windows Home/SOHO [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rich Koziol Sent: Wednesday, May 10, 2006 10:25 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Video Download from TV Show Hi, I missed a show on TV last night. It was on PBS. These shows eventually become availble on their website for watching. Is there a way to download and save those shows, for later viewing? Unlike some audio shows, which can be downloaded, or captured during play, I do not know of any way to do it with video.
