Getting a 'Microsoft Passport' id link is pretty innocuous: The main points initially raised against the 'Microsoft Passport' facility was that it was to be used for a large variety of things - including 'Secure' email and letting MS 'know' who was doing/using what!
And - given that the initial impression was that it would be an 'authorisation' facility for all sorts of access many - including myself declined to use it when it was first introduced. However - you don't have to use it for more than access to MS 'stuff' and it's free - so why not join. You joined this list didn't you JimB ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bernie Cosell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, May 11, 2006 2:16 PM Subject: Re: Virtual PC/Server Product > On 11 May 2006 at 6:51, Stephen Bird wrote: > > > This comes from Fred Langa... <www.langalist.com> > > > > 2) $999 Virtual Server Product Now Free! > > > > Fred: Now that Microsoft has released its Virtual Server for free, > > I was wondering if you have any tips about setting it up and using > > it, since you use it and like it.
