Here's what the link said about the app:
AttributeMagic allows users to view and modify the following file
attributes:
file creation date and time
file last access date and time
file modify date and time
Doesn't seem to fit the bill for me.
Anyway, if "access is denied", doesn't that mean there's a reason other
than the "read only attribute" that you can't do it?
