Yes I know that but it also does the work faster so it is quicker in the
execution of the work load unless the little men inside have only one
shovel!
Unfortunately, they haven't come up with a way yet to compare a dual core with, say, a pair of 1GHz precessors to a singkle 1.6 GHz processor and say which is faster.
