No change in this behavior.  Yes, MS should bundle the d/l manager into IE7.

Does the new IE 7 download files to cache then copy them over to your 
preferred location like IE 6 does?  It is so slow doing it this way & 
just takes up extra space & I'm using a Raid 0 setup that is quite 
quick but when downloading gigs of data at once it takes time.  FWIW 
I browse thru the MSFT IE7 stuff & did NOT see where this issue was 
ever addressed.
