A wag: -Right- click on the shortcut that invokes Word and
select [Properties]. In the Properties window, see if there is
a [Compatibility] tab. If yes, select that tab and see if a
[Display settings] section exists. One of the options in the
[Display settings] section is [Run in 640 x 480 screen
resolution].
