In prep for setting up printer sharing on an "Windows XP Home"
computer, I wanted to see what showed up in the workgroup
(MSHOME) under MS Windows Network.
I was surprised to get an error message "the list of servers for
this workgroup is not currently available"!!
I checked that message on Google and all the responses I looked
at seemed to focus on not being able to see a remote computer on
the LAN in the same workgroup.
Any ideas what I can do?
Is the fact that the user account doesn't have a password
relevant? If so, why?
Again, this is a problem on a single computer -- I hadn't gotten
to sharing anything.
Incidentally, this computer's connection to the Internet works
flawlessly.
Thanks.
