Yes, very sneaky which some have labelled unethical to hide spyware in genuine 
updates. I don't recall if it can be uninstalled but one of the list members 
referred us to a MS KB article to disable and perhaps uninstall it. Another way 
that has been suggested, if it is already installed, is to configure the 
firewall to prevent it from calling home.
