Can one set up 2 modems to be accessed separately on demand for dial-up
service.
I am having trouble with my internet connection for the last 3 months.
Many times I have to disconnect and start over to complete my downloads.
I can't tell if it is the modem, the ISP or the phone line.
Local people tell me it is probably the phone line the interupts the
connection.
I get nowhere trying to talk to Qwest about a bad line.
So I am going to try a new modem.
But it is so difficult setting up my modem that I would like to keep it
active in case it is not the modems fault.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
